I'm no stranger to feeling stuck in this journey of life. I started my online journey back in 2009 and over the years have been fortunate enough to work with mentors like Brendan Burchard, Tony Robbins and T Harv Eker to list a couple. In 2013 I managed to sack my boss and quit my entire time Executive level Government Role I'd worked in for almost 17 years.
Going full-time online isn't straightforward. A lot of things keep us from making the leap--things like panic and insecurity.
I made the decision to collect the lessons I have learned along the way and to share them with other people, such as you, attempting to better themselves and create a freedom laptop lifestyle.
Therefore, here are my 7 tips for getting a thriving online business.
1. Focus in your WHY.
How large is your WHY for starting an online business. Can it be to stop your job, have more time freedom to spend with family and friends or even more money to go on such a luxury vacation or buy that new car. How dedicated are you to your objective? How important is it for youpersonally, and what are you willing to sacrifice in order to attain it? If you end up fully focused and dedicated, motivation will soon follow.
2. Seek a Mentor and the right knowledge.
Having a mentor can quickly track your results and take you're the 4% group hand and show you the way. If you focus on the excitement of discovery, enhancing, experimenting and exploring, your motivation will always be fuelled. Therefore the secret is to get a Mentor, and revel in the journey not focus on the destination. Keep thinking about what you are learning along the way and creating your mindset and abilities.
3. Eliminate Negative beliefs and ideas.
Thoughts influence feelings and feelings determine the best way to view the world. You have a Good Deal of ideas in your head, and you've got a choice of which ones to focus on: those which will make you emotionally stuck (fears, doubts) or those that can move you closer to your goals (enthusiasm, experimenting, trying new things and stepping outside of your comfort zone)
4. Use your imagination.
Next step after eliminating negative thoughts is to use your creativity. Picture yourself already living the life that you want, driving the car that you always wanted, living in the home you dreamed of and travelling and enjoying that amazing vacation.
5. Get rid of distractions & accept ACTION.
Meaningless things and distractions will always be on your way, especially those simple, usual things you would rather do rather than focusing on new challenging and income generating activities. Learn to concentrate on what is the most essential and delegate the jobs which aren't to a digital assistant.
6. Plan and set Aims.
Know your weekly and monthly program and set your objectives. Review how each evening went by what you heard, attained and revise what you can improve.
7. Protect yourself from burnout.
Observe to recognize any symptoms of fatigue and take some time to break. Your body and head remainder when you schedule comfort and fun time into your week. Diversify your tasks, keep switching between something logical and creative, something physical and still, working alone and with a team. Switch locations to provide yourself a new perspective.
I hope that these hints help your handle and succeed in your online journey.
